We all lifted glasses together (many glasses) at the official opening bash for The Liberty Hotel. Joined by an extensive team of owners, partners, designers, architects, and builders whom we have been working with over the past several years in bringing this amazing new property to life . . . oh yeah and 500 of their closest friends, great crowd, great music, great party. 
Brother Jimmy’s officially opened Jimmy’s Burger Shack this November. The company’s first prototype of a place to grab a great burger on the go – just steps from Penn Station. Ten stools and a bare-bones menu. Check it out, and while you are there, check out Ben’s amazing type façade and the kitschy, retro branding! It’s all good. 
It's been a wild ride . . . but this fall we all celebrated with founders Dan Mathieu and Donna Montgomery after 10 years of Kids Can Cook! Dedication to serving middle school kids and their families through the love and promise of the culinary arts. Now in its tenth year, this wonderfully rich afterschool program teaches critical life skills through the world of cooking. Congrats to Donna and Dan!
